The Mountain Gateway Community College Local Board is currently accepting nominations for the annual Medallion of Merit Award. Last year, Ray Keen was selected as the 2022 recipient.
The Medallion of Merit was established in 1979 to recognize individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to the betterment of life to the world, nation, Commonwealth, region, or MGCC’s service area.
Nominations are available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/X3Y38T5. Applications are also available in the President’s Office in Backels Hall. The deadline for all nominations is Monday, July 10 by 5:00 pm.
Examples of those who may receive this award include individuals or organizations that have achieved success, assumed leadership, and supported their communities in various ways – all reflecting the purpose of Mountain Gateway Community College.
