Warren and Teenie Kegley, B.A. Rupert Real Estate, present the donation to Dr. John Rainone, President of DSLCC.
Warren and Teenie Kegley, owners of B.A. Rupert Real Estate of Covington, continue their support of the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Educational Foundation, once again serving as a Corporate Partner for the Foundation’s fundraiser, “Bubbles, Bands & Brunch—Tailgate Edition,” which will be held Sunday, September 15 at 12:30 p.m. in the Armory on the Clifton Forge campus. According to Educational Foundation Director, Rachael Thompson, this year’s event will take on the festive atmosphere of everyone’s favorite sporting activity – the tailgate party! Guests are invited to wear their favorite sports team apparel or colors.
Catering will be provided by Schaal’s Catering and Events of Fincastle and feature something for everyone – with a tailgate theme menu, including shrimp and grits, ribs, and southern fried pecan encrusted chicken and waffles. In addition, local breweries and vineyards will be on hand to offer a sampling of brews, ciders, and wines. Tailgate games and performances by area high school bands, including Alleghany, Covington, and Bath County high schools, will top off the day. A silent auction of more than twenty items will also take place, featuring Garth Newel dinner and entertainment for two, a private chef experience, and a stay at the Hillcrest Mansion Inn, including silver service breakfast for two and couples massages. Seating is limited. Tickets may be purchased anytime, as long as seats remain available. Call 863-2934 or email rthompson@dslcc.edu for more information.
