Program Description
This program stresses issues related to both culinary and business management and builds upon the coursework of the Culinary Arts certificate. While the first year of the program focuses more on culinary arts coursework, the second year focuses on business and general education courses to provide you with a well-rounded skillset to thrive in a culinary or hospitality setting. Emphasis is placed on developing graduates’ culinary and business skills to enter employment, pursue management opportunities, and grow in this career pathway.
General Information
This program includes business, culinary, and general education classes to provide you with a thorough background in culinary skills, as well as the skills needed to manage a restaurant or hospitality venue, to develop a career at an existing venue, or to begin your own.
