The Lowman family from Clifton Forge celebrated the graduation of daughter Keely Lowman from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Friday evening. Keely earned an Associate of Arts and Science Degree in General Studies and plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall. Keely is flanked by her grandmother, Connie Lowman, and parents Jason and Alaina.
The Angle family from Clifton Forge is all smiles following commencement exercises at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Friday night, following daughter Savannah’s graduation. Savannah received an Associate in Arts and Science in Science Degree and also a Certificate in General Education and a Career Studies Certificate in Science and Math. She plans to attend James Madison University in the fall. Savannah’s mom, Lee-Anne Bowling Angle, heads up the Science Program at DSLCC and participated in the ceremony. Dabney S. Lancaster Community College nursing graduate Darrell Loudermilk of Selma accepts the lanyard and pin from his mother, Peggy Rubble, a retired nurse who also graduated from the DSLCC Nursing Program, during the combined Commencement Exercises and Pinning Ceremony for the two DSLCC nursing programs on Thursday night. Loudermilk was one of 39 graduates who earned the Associate of Applied Science Degree, while 23 earned the Certificate in Practical Nursing.
