The Hamilton family of Lewisburg, WV, had double reason to celebrate over the weekend following commencement exercises at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. On Friday night, Sarrin Hamilton (in cap and gown) received an Associate of Arts and Science Degree in Education, as well as a Certificate in General Education, while her mom, Emily (far left), received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing as well as a Certificate in Advanced Health Care, during the Thursday night ceremony.
The Tran family from Lewisburg, WV, was all smiles following commencement exercises Saturday at Dabney S. Lancaster Community Friday night. Graduate Ngoc Hoang Tran (in cap and gown) earned the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Technology and the two Career Studies Certificates in Electrical Wiring Fundamentals and Instrumentation Technology Fundamentals. To the left of the new graduate is Suzanne Ostling, DSLCC’s Coordinator of Academic Advising and Disability Services, who served as Tran’s advisor.
