MGCC Community Education Courses: Guitar Lessons, American Sign Language, and Personal Narrative Writing Coming Soon
Clifton Forge, Va. - Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of three community education courses: Guitar Lessons, American Sign Language (ASL), and Personal Narrative Writing. These courses offer a great opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn new skills, explore creativity, and connect with others in the community.
The Community Group Guitar Lessons with Barry Hause will take place from February 4 to 25, on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of guitar for $150 per participant.
The Personal Narrative Writing course, led by Josh Hagy, will run from February 20 to March 20, on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:20 p.m. This course is designed for those interested in exploring their creative writing skills and will be offered for $150 per participant.
For those interested in learning American Sign Language, Janell Farley will lead a beginner's course from February 6 to April 3, held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The cost for this course is $200 per participant.
These courses are designed to provide participants with the skills and confidence to explore new passions while joining a supportive and welcoming community.
