Mountain Gateway Community College Celebrates student’s achievement of CCST Cybersecurity Certification
Clifton Forge, VA – Mountain Gateway Community College is excited to announce that Andrea Higgins, a dedicated student in the Information Systems Technology program, has successfully earned the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity certification.
The CCST Cybersecurity certification is a testament to Andrea's solid understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts. This credential highlights her proficiency in areas such as network and endpoint security, vulnerability management, risk analysis, and incident response. Her achievement reflects a strong foundation in cybersecurity, equipping her with the skills needed to navigate the complex security challenges of the digital age.
Earning the CCST Cybersecurity certification is a key milestone, paving the way for Andrea to pursue more advanced certifications like the CyberOps Associate, further enhancing her career opportunities in the cybersecurity field.
