OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Training - for Construction
OSHA Outreach 10-hour training is offered for General Industry or Construction according to specific standards and regulations for each industry. The standards are not interchangeable, so choose the course that is required by your employer.
OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Training for Construction is comprised of many sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. Focus is on hazard recognition and avoidance not OSHA Standards. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers, with topics in the following:
- Introduction to OSHA
- General safety and health
- Hazardous communication
- Hazardous materials
- Cranes and rigging
- Electrical safety
- Struck by and caught in between
- Fall protection
- Personal protective equipment
- Machine guarding safety
- Hand and power tools
- Scaffolds
- Stairs and ladders
Trainee Requirement Details
This course covers at least 10 hours of topics specific from OSHA’s 29 CFR Part 1926 standards. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be awarded an OSHA 10-Hour Card for Construction.
