On March 3, 2017, six student members and two advisors of the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Alph Eta Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa traveled to Washington, DC. Members of the Alpha Eta Omicron Chapter voted on an overnight trip to the nation’s capital. They conducted three fundraising events during January and February of this year, selling pizza and drinks to raise funds for the trip. The students selected the sights to visit during the trip, including the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the National Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery of Art – East and West Buildings, The Supreme Court, and the Washington Monument.
