Over 200 students from Maury River Middle School in Lexington visited the Clifton Forge campus of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College November 21 to learn about the many programs available at the college.

Dabney S. Lancaster Community College will host a “Youth Sports Day” during its home men’s basketball game on Saturday, December 14.

The Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Men’s Basketball team lost both games over the weekend in Pinehurst, NC, but Head Coach Brandon Garrett was pleased overall with the team’s effort.

The three-person team of “TRiO Works” was the second place winner in “Miles for Meals”, a six-week long event hosted by Dabney S. Lancaster Community College to fight food insecurity on campus.

Culinary Arts students from Rockbridge County High School recently participated in “Culinary Boot Camp” sponsored by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging and Travel Association at the Dabney S.

Dabney S. Lancaster Community College’s Men’s Basketball team split two games in their season openers on the road last weekend, according to Head Coach Brandon Garrett. The Roadrunners beat Mid-Atlantic Christian University’s Jayvee team in Elizabeth City, NC, 68-66, on Saturday, but lost to Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC, 82-62, on Sunday.

DSLCC is pleased to announce a new culinary series. Beginning January 16, culinary classes featuring American and International cuisine are being offered to the general public with Culinary Arts Program Head Ed McArdle as the instructor. These classes are being offered by the DSLCC Culinary Program in conjunction with the DSLCC Workforce Solutions and Community Education Division.
