Talent Search Awarded 5-Year Grant

Dr. John Rainone, President of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, is pleased to announce that the college’s Educational Talent Search TRIO Program has been awarded a five-year $1.7 million grant from the Department of Education that will enable them to continue the program for the next five years.

DSLCC Student Katie Boggs Selected for Prestigious Award

Lancaster Community College is pleased to announce that Katie Boggs of Covington has been selected as part of the sixth class of the Valley Proteins Fellows Program, administered by the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education. Boggs, a full-time student at DSLCC, is one of only nine individuals statewide selected for the prestigious award.

DSLCC Capital Campaign Passes $4M Mark

The largest comprehensive fund-raising campaign in the 53-year history of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College passed the $4 million mark, it was announced Wednesday at a celebration gathering on the DSLCC Clifton Forge campus. The original goal of “Imagine, Invest, Inspire – The Campaign for DSLCC”, launched last September by the DSLCC Educational Foundation, was $3.5 million.
